“The greatest risk in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing and becomes nothing.”
— Norman Vincent Peale
To achieve any goal, there’s always risks involved. Most of us start our lives with a healthy attitude towards RISK. As young children, we often engaged in risky, adventurous behaviors such as climbing trees or staircases, running too fast etc.
.
A healthy and happy child will love to test and try new skills even though it can be dangerously risky. When we first walk, we fell down a few times but that doesn’t stop us from walking again right?
.
Everything involve risks. In loving another person, we risk. To gain we must risk. To learn to walk, we must risk falling over and getting hurt. To make money we risk losing it. To win something we face the possibility of losing.
.
To me, facing calculated risks in life means I’m living my life and trying. We have a choice. It is the choice between really living our lives or just merely existing for nothing. Life’s full of risk but don’t let that stop you from trying your best to live your life to the fullest, in the best possible way.
